current projects

After many months of works, several revisions, and numerous sabotage attempts by courier companies we are pleased to finally present the long awaited µStep! It is a dual 8 step gate/trigger sequencer. This deceptively small device is packed with features like:

  • Separate gate lengths
  • Seperate sequence lengths (1-8 steps for each sequence)
  • Pattern storage and recall
  • Swing/Shuffle
  • Relative and Absolute gate timing modes
  • Header on PCB for connecting to STG Time Buffer (control via Rolan DINSYNC

These will be available exclusively in the USA from Analogue Haven for $195USD. If outside of the USA please contact us for direct sales.

The first batch of Mind Melds completely sold out in just over two weeks. As a result we have created another batch of them with revised PCBSs. This new batch will be available exclusively in the US from Analogue Haven for $160. You can download the manual here and a video on installing it will be posted soon.

I have worked on so many exciting projects this past 6 months but unfortunately many of them have to remain secret for now due to non-disclosure agreements or pending their official release. I promise to share whatever I can as soon as I can.

Specdrum Test 1

28 Jun 2009

Basic test of Specdrum, an interactive  installation in the works for the Richmond Olympic Oval. This is a collaboration between Tangible Interactive and Intellijel Designs. We developed an electronic trigger system for the drums that is processed by a microcontroller and sent to a computer running max/msp. The max/msp patch then generates the color sequence as DMX512 values and interfaces to the DMX rgb lights via a Lanbox interface.
